All over Pinterest there are gorgeous photos of creative desserts. One that always caught my eye was the cookie bar. Using my recipe for cookies and combining it with chocolate chips and Skor bits, I created a gooey, scrumptious, and rich dessert that is also absolutely adorable!

Chocolate Chip Skor Cookie Bars

Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup Skor bits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 F. Prepare a 9x13 baking pan with foil and coat with cooking spray.
- In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Once combined add the eggs, one at a time beating on medium low speed.
- On low speed, gradually add the flour mixture and mix just until combined.
- With a spatula, fold in the chocolate chips and Skor bits.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the cookie batter is golden brown and firm.
- Carefully remove the cookie onto a cooling rack and leave to cool until they are room temperature.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the cookie into squares. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add your own fixings to the batter, like M&Ms, peanut butter chips, or any other dessert topping you desire!
